Healthcare Customer Service and Field Representatives
Seeking Full-Time Healthcare Customer Service and Field Representatives

Purpose: To assist healthcare providers in securing governmental, commercial and private funding to cover healthcare cost incurred by uninsured and under insured patients. Programs include: Medi-cal, CMSP, SSI-Disability, Victim of Crimes Compensations and Third Party Liability.
Assist patients through the application process and provide transportation to Human Services/Funding Agency interviews and/or to obtain additional documentation when applicable. Locate patients at various addresses, which could include the homeless district, housing projects, and other low-income neighborhoods. Travel expenses are reimbursed (If applicable). In this position you will be responsible for interviewing and screening patients to determine appropriate funding programs. Ensures required documentation is submitted timely to secure eligibility for dates needed. Consistent, extensive and detailed account follow up to ensure proper funding and timelines of eligibility and billing process are met.
AA degree in business related field preferred
Nursing and/or Case Management experience highly desirable
2-5 years experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting required
Strong customer service and clerical skills required
Basic computer skills
Reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
Clean DMV Record
Work well under pressure and be able to prioritize
Varies: Possible, mornings, afternoons and evenings
Must be Available Weekends
Full time; Non-exempt
